Sam Hale
 | President:
Originally from North Dakota and then to Washington state, Coach Hale participated in sports through high school and college, with a focus on Football and the Decathlon. This led to coaching positions at the high school varsity level for 4 seasons in Football, and Track&Field. Coach Hale’s wife and four sons have made Buda their home since 2021 and have been part of the Jr Jags since their boots hit the ground - as players, Coach, and team Mom. Being involved in youth sports and youth development on and off the field has been a passion for Coach Hale for as long as he can remember, mostly due to a monumental coach/mentor that helped changed the course of his life. This experience inspired Sam to pursue coaching and youth mentorship. Moving into this role of leadership was a natural next step and he hopes to bring his passion and enthusiasm to the leadership team, further developing this great organization we have right here in our backyard.

Josh Delgado

| Vice President:
Growing up I split my time between Uvalde and Austin, Texas, but have called Buda home since 2012 with my wife Raelyn. We are blessed to have watched our son Jaden play for the Jags since 2023 and hope to add our daughter Callie to the organization soon. Positively impacting the youth in my community is a passion of mine, and what I believe to be one of our greatest responsibilities. Not just developing their skills on the field, but by developing their life skills off it. Sports give our youth the opportunity to learn invaluable life lessons like earning your success, working through failure, and to be a part of something bigger than yourself. Since 2016 I have coached baseball, football, and basketball, in addition to playing these sports for most of life. Having the opportunity to apply my professional background in organizational leadership to the Buda Jr Jags organization is a privilege I am fortunate to have for years to come.

I currently have a Jr. Jag football player, Jaden (7) who has been with the organization for 2 years. And, one day, I hope our daughter, Callie (4) will get to cheer him on as a Jr. Jags Cheerleader! I have loved watching our son live out his passion for sports for 5 years now. I look forward to contributing to all the amazing youth who are part of this great organization and watching it grow!

Rosie Gallo

| Secretary:
Hello Jag Family! My name is Rosie Gallo. I was born and raised in the Valley (McAllen, Texas). I am a dedicated, loving wife and mother living in Kyle, Texas, where I share this beautiful life with my husband of ten years and our four energetic sons. In my family life, I treasure every moment spent with my husband and our sons, nurturing their interests and encouraging them to pursue their passions. Whether it’s attending their sports games, volunteering at our church or enjoying family outings, I embrace my role as a wife and mother, wholeheartedly.
I have proudly represented Hays CISD for 12 years in education working for an Elementary School as the campus PEIMS Clerk/Registrar where I am passionate about meeting new families and serving their needs. When I’m not working or spending time with my family, I enjoy engaging with the community, attending local events, and finding ways to give back. I believe in raising our sons to appreciate the importance of kindness and community service.
It is a great honor to be a part of the Buda Jr Jags Board and I feel incredibly blessed to be a part of this wonderful organization. I am excited about this new opportunity and look forward to contributing my time and energy to help the youth in our community. Through this role, I aim to support local initiatives that promote sports, teamwork, and personal growth among young athletes in the area.

Kasi Zsembik
 | Cheerleading Director:
My name is Kasi Zsembik, I was raised in Hays and have had a love of cheer and dance since I was 5 years old. I went the route of dance and was a Hays High stepper for Hays High School. I have 2 amazing kids, Kial is 15 and Daniel is 18. Both of my kids go to Johnson High School and are Jag wrestlers.
My family has been a part of the Buda Junior Jaguars organization for many years, my daughter cheered when it was still the Buda Bandits and then I had nieces join the organization as well so I decided to become a cheer coach in 2017. I wanted to continue to spread the love for cheer so I became the Cheer Director in 2018 and remained in this position with only taking a year off in that time. I enjoy watching the girls grow over the years and hope to watch them turn into high school cheerleaders and beyond.
I am excited to see all the current and future cheerleaders join the organization and have many successful seasons to come!

I was born & raised in Austin TX. I played throughout my jr. high and high school years. Moved to Buda area in 1999 with my lovely wife and 2 kids (at that time). In 2010 my oldest played with the Capital City Bearcat and my oldest daughter cheered for them as well. It was a travel from North Austin to Buda so, we decided to let my oldest son finish out with the Bearcats and finding an organization for my daughter to cheer for closer to home finding the Buda Bandits and joining their organization to be amazing. Here I am still with them Now! I now coach the Buda Jaguars & Select Teams. My goal is to teach these young athletes the basics and fundamentals of the game & get them to the Next Level! “Jr Jag Nation” | Email: [email protected]

Levi O'Neill
 | Safety and Equipment Manager:
Originally from Florida, my time in the military took my family and I all over the country. After separating the military, my wife, two boys and I chose to take one more leap moving from Maryland to Texas back in July 2024. I have played sports all my life and what it does in developing not only the physical but the mental strength in kids is something that can’t be understated. It provides an outlet for kids to problem solve, push themselves, and gain confidence and conviction in their abilities to succeed. I have been lucky enough to coach our oldest son in Maryland and now here with the Jags for football and basketball with his little brother not far behind already trying to run drills with us on the sideline of every practice. Our first season with the Jags, we walked into a community that helped our son build that confidence and make friends when he knew no one. I look forward to having the opportunity to give back that same energy into this organization and to every one who puts their trust in us!
